Appointment Tips

Hi, Beauty! This page is to give you a few helpful tips for your appointment. Please review the instructions prior to your appointment. If this is your first time getting permanent makeup, please arrive on time so that you can complete paperwork and get out your jitters (lol).

Permanent makeup can be messy business (eek!). Ink has no boundaries and can get everywhere. SO... If you choose to wear a mask, do not wear your favorite mask. There is a 3 million percent chance your mask will get dirty!!

Finally, should life happen and you need to reschedule, reach out (text/call) 48H prior to your appointment.

BROW BEAUTY (2.5 hours)

  • Arrive with a fresh face!! This means no makeup from under the brow bone to the top of your forehead. If we have spoken in advance about an alternative plan besides having a “fresh face,” follow those instructions.

  • Brow maintenance (waxing, tweezing, threading) can be done up to three days before your appointment.

  • If it is your daily routine, wash your hair the night before or the morning of the appointment. Brows need to remain dry 48 hours after your application.

  • Please have a picture of yourself made up and/or a brow inspiration photo ready to share. The photo will give me strong guidance for brow design.

  • NO alcohol 24H before your appointment!

  • Depending upon when you made your appointment, discontinue any use of a retinol or hyaluronic product today… or one month before your appointment!!

  • Botox and fillers can be done two weeks before or after your appointment.

  • Aftercare kit included.

EYELINER BEAUTY (2.5 - 3 hours)

Our eyelids have very delicate skin. It is imperative that you follow these instructions!!

  • Arrive with fresh eyes!! This means no mascara, eyeshadow, foundation on the eyes. I want to cause the least amount of irritation to the eyelids. We, meaning you and me, want to give your skin every opportunity to have the most amount of ink deposited the first-go-round. If we have spoken in advance about an alternative plan besides arriving with a “fresh eyes,” follow those instructions.

  • If you wear glitter eyeshadow, please do not wear it two to three days prior to your appointment. I do not want any glitter getting embedded in your new eyeliner.

  • If it is your daily routine, wash your hair the night before or the morning of the appointment. The eyeliner needs to remain dry 24 hours after your application.

  • Contacts: I prefer your contacts be out the day before your appointment. If the is not possible, your contacts must be removed before you enter the studio/spa… no exceptions!! I love eyeglasses, so break out your favorite frames!

  • NO alcohol 24H before your appointment!

  • Depending upon when you made your appointment, discontinue any use of a lash growth serum today! Lash serum must not be used at least one month before your appointment!!

  • Lash extensions and eyeliner application do not mix!!!! Lash extensions mush be removed prior to eyeliner application... no exceptions!!

  • Aftercare kit included.

FRECKLES / BEAUTY MARK (1 - 1.5 hours)

Soooooo excited about this sun-kissed look!!

  • Arrive with a fresh face!! This means no foundation, powder, concealer, blush, bronzer, etc. Eye makeup is fine.

  • If you choose, the following can happen: 1. You can pre-draw freckles/beauty mark only. 2. Screenshot your favorite freckle filter and bring that with you for inspiration. 3. I can free-hand freckle/beauty mark placement.

  • If it is your daily routine, wash your hair the night before or the morning of the appointment. Freckles need to remain dry 48 hours after application.

  • NO alcohol 24H before your appointment!

  • Depending upon when you made your appointment, discontinue any use of a retinol or hyaluronic acid product today, or one month before your appointment!!

  • Aftercare kit included.

LIP BEAUTY (3 hours)

  • Bring your favorite daytime lipstick you want color-matched!! While the color may not be spot on, I will get as close as I can.

  • Arrive with fresh lips!! This means minimal color on your lips. A small amount of lipstick may help with the color-matching process. Other than that, not a lot of lipstick. I do not want to rub to cleanse those lips any more than what is necessary.

  • Keep your lips moisturized… especially two to three days prior to your appointment (Vaseline will do).

  • Use a sugar scrub (store-bought or homemade) to exfoliate your lips up to five days before the appointment. After that, make sure those lips stay hydrated.

  • History of cold sores?

    • YES: Contact your healthcare provider TODAY to get an anti-viral prescription. You will need to start this medication two days before your appointment. You will also need to complete the full dose of the medication as prescribed by your healthcare provider. Please do not wait until the last minute to get your prescription!!

    • NO: If there is no history of cold sores, you are good to go.

  • Cold sores are highly contagious. If a cold sore is present prior to your appointment, you will need to reschedule… no exceptions. Applying lip blush will only make the sores worse!

  • NO alcohol 24H before your appointment!

  • Botox and fillers can be done two weeks before or after your appointment.

  • Aftercare kit included.

CANCELLATION POLICY

I understand life is challenging and things are unexpectedly thrown our way. With that said, should you have to cancel an appointment for any reason including sickness, travel or emergencies, please give a 48H notice. Time has been set aside for you. Cancelling at the last minute takes away from another Beauty who may have been able to see me. Be aware any appointment scheduled and then cancelled without a 48H notice and/or cancelled the day of the appointment will incur an additional setup fee per area.

So please... cancel with a 48H notice. If you are not strong enough to cancel with a phone call, a text will do. Just let me know!

Let's Work Together

Appointments last for the full scheduled time. Be aware of the listed times if you have somewhere to be after your appointment. If you are pressed for time, consider rescheduling. Just know… this is your time for self-care and self-love. You are worth it!!
